Mind
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy:
CBT brings attention to your thoughts and beliefs, and how these impact your actions. We’ll use CBT to identify unhelpful thoughts, challenge or reframe them, and create more helpful thoughts in their place.
Strengths-based Positive Psychology:
Every one of us has a set of unique strengths with which we were born. The problem is, most people don't know what they are or don't consider them strengths, as they come so easily to us. Together we’ll help you step into your strengths and values, so you can be more YOU!
Parts Work:
It can be very helpful to identify various parts of yourself that may be stuck in time. At one point, these parts/beliefs/actions helped you get through challenges, however now they may block your growth. Other names for this style of therapy include inner child work, accessing the authentic self, and shadow work.

Body
Somatic & Expressive Therapies:
The body is a rich source of information, yet most people either don't know how to listen or actively ignore it. Somatic (body based) awareness and basic movement increases your ability to access your body's wisdom. This can be especially helpful with anxiety, as most anxiety starts in with thoughts, and the body can counteract them. Other names for this style include mind-body techniques and dance/movement therapy.
Coping Skills:
Coping skills and self care are not about superficial activities. We will identify tools, skills, and actions that will replenish you over time. The things that you enjoy doing and that are good for you, can increase positive mood and help you manage life.
Body Neutral & Body Positive:
“Body neutrality provides a space free from societal judgment, fostering self-acceptance. Body positivity champions diversity, challenging societal norms and encouraging self-love. The dynamic continuum allows individuals to find comfort at different points.” Psychology Today article

Spirit
Mindfulness, meditation, journeywork:
Mindfulness helps you learn to stay in the present moment, eventually without judgement. This can help you become aware of worries, boundary crossings, and what you really need in any given moment. Mindfulness increases awareness, which is the first step towards change. Mindfulness may include breathing, walking, sensory awareness, compassion, or body awareness.
Your beliefs are welcome in session!
If you have specific spiritual or religious beliefs, we can lean into them as a source of strength, coping, and wisdom. I’m not here to place my beliefs onto you, however I do have experience &/or training in astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, Reiki, and more.
